Sport on Equal Terms for People of Short Stature
The German Dwarf Sport (DKS) was founded on 15 April 2017 with one clear goal: to give little people access to sport at the highest level. In training and in competition alike – we create spaces where fairness, performance, and community are at the centre.
What We Do
We offer, promote, and organise high-quality training and competition opportunities, nationally and internationally. Our athletes compete primarily in IDSF disciplines including athletics, swimming, table tennis, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, floor hockey, shooting, and boccia.
What sets us apart: little people athletes compete here under fair conditions – with respect, motivation, and sporting ambition.

Sport is for everyone – but everyday life often tells a different story. That is exactly where we step in.
DKS actively supports you when challenges arise: at school sport, club sport, the national youth games, and anywhere inclusion in sport is needed.
